We guarantee* your satisfaction with Wipe New Tires!
1 2oz bottle of Wipe New Tires
1 Microfiber Applicator
1 Pair of Nitrile Gloves
Important Wipe New Tires Notes:
- Prep and application instructions must be followed properly to ensure a successful and long lasting result.
- Tire must be thoroughly cleaned and completely dry before application.
- Keep applicator moistened with Wipe New Tires throughout the entire application process.
- Tire sidewall surfaces are porous by nature. The first coat of Wipe New®. Tires will be absorbed into the surface to help “set” the surface for the 2nd coat. Older tires and tires with tall and/or softer sidewalls (truck/SUV tires) will be more porous and require more Wipe New Tires.
- When applying Wipe New Tires, wear the protective nitrile gloves and ensure you are outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Failure to wear protective gloves may result in injury.
- Let Wipe New Tires dry for 1 hour before driving vehicle and 24 hours before exposing to moisture (rain, dew, sprinklers, car wash, etc).
- Do not apply Wipe New Tires to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight as this may cause uneven curing and streaking in the finish.
- If Wipe New Tires comes in contact with an unintended surface such as paint, wipe it off immediately with a dry cloth.
- Store Wipe New Tires in a cool, dry place and discard within one year of purchase.
- Friction (ex: rubbing against a curb) will remove Wipe New Tires.

WIPE NEW TIRES APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Thoroughly clean your sidewalls
IMPORTANT: Thoroughly clean all four tires to remove all traces of soil, brake dust, silicone, and oxidized rubber before applying Wipe New Tires; this will allow you to work quickly and without interruption once you begin your application.
Wet the tire and keep it wet while cleaning. Liberally spray the sidewall with a strong degreaser (pro tip: Westley’s Bleche-Wite®, which is specifically formulated for cleaning tires, is highly recommended). Using a stiff plastic brush, vigorously scrub the sidewall. Pay close attention to the edges of the tire treads, as well as the raised lettering and ribs as these are areas where dirt tends to cling and buildup. Rinse the sidewall, then wipe it with a clean white cloth. If black residue appears, repeat the cleaning process until the cloth no longer picks up any residue.
Step 2: Allow Tires to Dry completely
Take a break! Your Tires must be 100% dry before proceeding to Step 3. Ensure there is no hidden water in areas such as the raised lettering, tire tread, on the rim, or the bead around the wheel that may drip out and run along the tire during or after application (pro tip: if available, a quick application of Isopropyl Alcohol with a lint-free rag will help remove any residual contaminants and further dry the surface).
Step 3: Apply Wipe New Tires
Put on the chemical resistant gloves, ensure that you are in a well ventilated area and that the tires are clean and completely dry. Saturate one edge of the microfiber applicator (included) and begin to apply Wipe New Tires to your sidewalls. Work around the tire, ensuring that you also coat the raised lettering and textured areas. Apply one coat and proceed to the next tire, until all four tires have a single coat. After coating all four tires, pull the vehicle forward and apply Wipe New to the portion of the tire missed during this first application. In most cases, you will see Wipe New Tires partially absorb into the sidewall after the first coat has been applied, this is normal.
VERY IMPORTANT: Wait a full 5 minutes after applying the first coat before proceeding. Then, starting with the tire to which you first applied Wipe New Tires, and following in the same order, apply a second coat to each tire. Ensure that the applicator is thoroughly saturated and apply the second coat at a slower pace to allow Wipe New Tires to flow out and give a darker, smoother finish. Be sure to keep the applicator well moistened throughout the process.
If a higher level of gloss is desired, you may apply a third coat but make sure to wait a full 5 minutes between coats.

WIPE NEW TIRES FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I have to wear gloves and eye protection when using Wipe New Tires?
We recommend wearing the included gloves and using eye protection when applying Wipe New Tires because once dry it can be difficult to remove from your skin, and may irritate skin upon contact. In case of contact with skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes, hold eye open and thoroughly flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. (see cautions on back page)
Is it ok to apply Wipe New Tires in direct sunlight and/or to hot surfaces? Will being out in the sun speed up the drying process (maybe I’ll need to use a second coat)?
For best results, apply Wipe New Tires to a cool surface in a garage, carport or other shaded, well ventilated area. While the sun does speed up the drying process, a hot surface or direct sun can speed drying too much and cause the surface to appear streaked.
How long does it take for Wipe New Tires to dry? What happens if the treated surface gets wet before it dries completely (i.e. morning dew, rain)?
We recommend that you allow 1 hour of drying time before touching the surface and a full 24 hours after applying Wipe New Tires before exposure to moisture of any kind. If the surface gets wet before Wipe New Tires cures, you may see streaking or spotting in the finish. A second coat of Wipe New Tires will not resolve this issue. For best results, we recommend keeping the vehicle garaged for 24 hours after application.
Will Wipe New Tires damage my clothes?
Wipe New Tires contains no dyes, however, it does harden as it dries and may damage your clothing.
Why does the surface look streaked while/immediately after applying Wipe New Tires?
Streaking may occur if 1) prior to beginning the surface has not been thoroughlyprepped (cleaned with soap and water, free of greases/oils and dust particles), 2) thecloth begins to dry during application, 3) the treated surface is exposed to moisture within 24 hours of application, or 4) Wipe New Tires was applied to a hot surface orin direct sunlight, causing it to cure at a faster, uneven rate. Streaking is also oftenthe result of a porous tire surface unevenly absorbing Wipe New Tires. To correct thestreaking, wait 5 minutes after the coating to apply an additional coat evenly acrossthe tire surface.
